Partner Program Terms & Conditions

Agreement

These Terms govern your participation in the Owner Inspections Partner Program operated by Owner Inspections Pty. Ltd. (ABN 67 600 802 533). By registering, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We may update them at any time — continued participation constitutes acceptance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate registration details, and not be a current employee of Owner Inspections. We may approve or reject applications and deactivate accounts at our discretion.

Partner Obligations

You agree to:

  • Use only your assigned referral code or link for attribution.
  • Not misrepresent yourself as an employee, agent, or representative of Owner Inspections.
  • Not engage in spam, unsolicited communications, or deceptive marketing.
  • Not bid on our brand name or trademarks in paid search advertising without written approval.
  • Not submit fraudulent, duplicate, or self-referrals.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Referral Process

Referrals are submitted via your referral link or the Partner Portal. Each referral progresses through statuses: Pending (awaiting review), Qualified (verified, inspection booked), Won (completed and paid), Not Qualified (did not meet criteria), Lost (did not convert), or Refunded(client received refund). Only "Won" referrals generate a fee. All status decisions are final.

Referral Fees

Fees are calculated when a referral reaches "Won" status. Your fee structure (percentage of inspection fee, fixed amount per referral, or no fee) and applicable rates are displayed in your Partner Portal and may vary by partner group or individual arrangement. All amounts are in Australian Dollars (AUD). We reserve the right to modify rates with notice via email or the Portal.

Payouts

Approved fees accumulate in your balance. Payouts require meeting the minimum threshold and hold period displayed in your Portal. Automatic payouts run on the 1st of each month for eligible partners with verified Stripe accounts. Payouts are made exclusively via bank transfer through Stripe Connect.

Payout statuses: Pending (awaiting approval), Processing (transfer initiated), Completed (deposited), Rejected (fees returned to balance), or Failed(transfer error — check bank details).

Bank Account & Verification

To receive payouts, connect an Australian bank account via Stripe. You must provide your BSB, account number, and account holder name. Stripe may require additional verification (date of birth, address, TFN, identity document). Your bank details and identity documents are transmitted directly to Stripe and are not stored on our servers. See the Stripe Privacy Policy for details.

Refunds & Reversals

If a client receives a refund, the associated referral fee is reversed in full. Your balance is debited by the reversed amount (floored at zero). Fees already included in completed payouts may be deducted from future payouts.

Intellectual Property

You receive a limited, revocable licence to use marketing materials from the Partner Portal for promotion purposes only. Do not modify our brand assets without consent. Cease all use upon termination.

Data & Privacy

We collect your name, email, phone, company, and referral activity in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Banking and identity data is processed by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Communications

You will receive transactional emails about your account, referrals, and payouts which cannot be unsubscribed from. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed at any time.

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Contact [email protected] to deactivate. We may suspend accounts immediately for breach. Upon termination, eligible balances meeting the payout threshold will be processed as a final payout. Balances below the threshold may be forfeited.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the total referral fees paid to you in the preceding 12 months. We make no guarantees regarding referral volume or earnings.

Disputes & Governing Law

Disputes must be raised within 30 days by contacting [email protected]. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
